In a meeting between, John Chmela, Nick Rimedio, Jr. and Robert Sadlemire, the New Freedom Awards trophy became the topic of conversation.
Robert Sadlemire, a conceptual structuralist with a spectacular gallery in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is perhaps best know for his work taking "emotionless" metal and transforming it into functional pieces like chandeliers, kingsized beds, lamps, tables, or stunningly beautiful women.
When asked about crafting a trophy that would convey the concept of providing new freedoms for people with disability, we could almost see and hear the creative process of Robert Sadlemire as he contemplated his next conceptual structure.
On July 22nd, the winners of the New Freedoms Awards will likely receive a handcrafted work of art from Robert Sadlemire, and the attendees will witness something truly specacular awaiting them in the lobby.
