Products, Services, and Research for people who have a disability have never been more exciting. Not since Biblical times, have there been more advances for the blind, deaf, paralyzed, and othe rpeople who have disabilities.
After checking out the new sunglasses that increase the sice of visuals the one hundred time their size, we visited the IBM booth and learned how to make accessible Internet websites and applications. New techniques for learning, reading, listening, transporting, and using every day items like a computer, a television, or a desk are all available for people with disabilities.
"These are the kinds of inventions that The New Freedoms project team are looking for.
We visited every booth at the show and invited them to participate in the project or to make a nomination. The New Freedom Awards were recieved with great enthusiam at "Closing The Gap". We expect many of the showcased products and services to be features at the awards.
